History

At the beginning of the new millennium there were in the Czech Republic, not so many websites aimed at the gay community. That’s why I 16th April 2001 we launched honilek.cz  starting at the grass roots level we changed the way the gay community in the Czech republic could access gay themed sites, from that day we have posted information on life in the Czech republic and of events and venues for the gay comunity.  We have always had uptodate information of where to go and when on the gay scene in the Towns and cities of CZ. Honilek.cz is the oldest gay portal operating within the czech Republic.



Present

In September 2009  E-Chameleon (web design company) developed new soft ware and web design for Honilek.cz fully correspondant to the modern and informative nature as requires by the viewing ordience of the 21st century. Among the innovations which is definitely worth mentioning is the provision of short term accommodation to foreign and domestic tourists, and related services (city tours, transport and provide input on events, etc.) Another important change is the new concept of gay guide is divided into two sections offer information detailed of any gay club in the Czech Republic, his review, photos of interior, etc. The second part is devoted to restaurants. The last major news portal is a complete English version.  



Future  

Life they say never stands still and honilek.cz is no exception, we aim to continullay improve our pages and offers where and when we can. In the short term, we plan to run exclusive tours for visitors in the long term then participate in the organization of gay pride Prague and operated gay club & hotel.
