Latest information about the opening of new club Max
For more than a year Prague missed a big gay dance club. Wait no longer! In March club Max will open on Vinohradska 40! The area of the former On Club, Valentino, Gejzeer has been completely refurnished and looks like Prague residents and tourists will enjoy a really good club in Western Europe style. Robert Vůjtek of the Max team provided Honilek.cz an interview.
The question that most readers are interested about is when the club opens, and what is happening at the opening party?
The club will be open in March, the exact dates will be published within 10 days. At the opening we are preparing an Opening White Party.
What the guests can look forward to? It’s better than Termix? What about music & darkrooms?
The novelty in the club include a maze in the darkroom area, inspiring nooks and opening some areas that have been previously closed. Then we adjusted spaces too, incorporating a non-smoking area, to increase the number of visitors. We have also prepared for visitors an active ice wall that will be able to show 3D screenings and programmed elements.
Club Max offers two bars, a large main bar with beer, so that visitors only wait the shortest possible time. Club Max will be an alternative Club Termix. We would like to focus on another segment of gay clientele who seek a different type of music than what is produced in the Club Termix. We seek to invite visitors to dance music such as house Disco, Chill-out, Tech house, or for special parties with a different music production. In thematic parties DJ’s from Czech and Europe will be invited. Also, we expect that there will have the opportunity for novice DJs.
What will the opening hours and admission be; and what will be the price range of drinks?
Hours will be Friday and Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00. Other than these days we consider organizing private events upon request. In addition, some actions for non-profit organizations that are dedicated to the LGBT community. The space will also have a charity event. There will be no entry fee, except for special events held several times a year. But we will be introducing a mandatory bar consumption, the amount of which will be specified, but will not exceed 100 CZK. With that, the prices on the drinks menu are identical to Termix Club. Furthermore, we assume that this will be linked with the club Termix consumption. To clarify, when you buy a compulsory consumption in Max, you do not have to buy also in Termix and vice versa. This option is currently solved from a technical point. Details will be posted on Facebook before opening.
Will there be a VIP zone slowly taking over half of the club? Or is this VIP concept rejected? How will it be for you?
As you rightly said, according to our concept with VIP zone, there will be only one VIP toilet-up using the chip. Otherwise all of the club, will be open to all guests except for dark-room, where only male visitors can enter.

The gay map is already listing Club Max, what made you decide to tweak the name to TerMax?
We didn´t changed the name, the club is called MAX, only falls into the same ownership structure as Termix and therefore this is reflected in the logo of the club MAX - TerMax.
